Safety

The safety of users and the proper functioning of the temperature and humidity monitoring system are our top priorities. Adhering to the following guidelines will ensure smooth installation and operation of the devices, minimizing the risk of equipment damage and providing safe working conditions.

General Guidelines

  • Read the Manual: Before starting the installation or using the devices, familiarize yourself with the system user manual.
  • Avoid Extreme Conditions: Do not install devices in locations exposed to direct high temperatures, humidity, dust, or vibrations, which could damage the device.
  • Child Safety: Ensure that devices are installed out of reach of children.

Installation Safety

  • Location Selection: Place the devices in locations that ensure free airflow, avoiding areas with direct sunlight, heaters, or air conditioners, which can affect measurement accuracy.
  • Securing Devices: Ensure all devices are securely mounted and stable. Use the appropriate mounts provided in the kit.
  • Moisture Protection: If devices are installed in high-humidity areas, ensure they are properly protected from water.

Operational Safety

  • Battery Monitoring: Regularly check the battery charge level. Our devices are equipped with battery level indicators that signal when a replacement is needed.
  • Battery Replacement: Use only manufacturer-recommended batteries. During battery replacement:

    • Observe the polarity markings (+ and -) when inserting new batteries.
    • Avoid mixing old and new batteries, as this can lead to leakage and damage to the device.
  • Safe Battery Disposal: Used batteries should be disposed of according to local battery recycling regulations to minimize environmental impact.
  • Avoiding Physical Damage: Protect the devices from drops, impacts, and other mechanical damages that could affect their proper functioning.
  • Regular Maintenance: Regularly clean the devices according to the manufacturer’s instructions, avoiding the use of harsh cleaning agents that could damage the sensors or device housing.

Responding to Alarms and Malfunctions

  • Quick Response to Alarms: In case of an alarm indicating that temperature or humidity levels have exceeded acceptable limits, take immediate corrective action to restore optimal environmental conditions.
  • Fault Diagnosis: In the event of technical issues, refer to the troubleshooting section in the manual or contact technical support.

Adhering to the above safety guidelines will ensure not only the long-lasting and reliable operation of the system but also protect users from potential hazards associated with the use of battery-powered devices.
